C. Ben Mitchell, Ph.D.

C. Ben Mitchell is Associate Professor of Bioethics and Contemporary Culture, at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, in Deerfield, Illinois. He serves as editor of the journal Ethics and Medicine and Bioethics Consultant to the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention. Dr. Mitchell's Ph.D. is in philosophy with a concentration in medical ethics, and his dissertation focused on the ethical issues in patenting human life. He also serves as a consultant for the Genetics & Public Policy Center of Johns Hopkins University.
